Settling into the college schedule, Hustler photographers captured moments of sun across campus, women’s soccer wins, ongoing Branscomb developments, fun on the lawn and an energized Spacey Jane concert.
Views around campus
Photographers captured everyday moments in buildings across Vanderbilt. Some of the views encompassed sunny scenes across campus and students moving through different buildings for class.
Spacey Jane rocked the Brooklyn Bowl
Australian indie rock band, Spacey Jane, gave an “out of this world” performance at Brooklyn Bowl on September 4. The band appeared to energize the crowd as they performed to support their recently released third album “If That Makes Sense.”
Women’s soccer kicked out the competition
After Vanderbilt Women’s Soccer beat No. 16 Georgetown 1-0 on September 4, the No. 13-ranked team played a competitive game against LSU that ended in a draw on Sept. 12.
Branscomb Quad is being reduced to rubble
With the delayed demolition of Branscomb underway, Photo Editor George Albu documented the site, providing an over-the-fence view of the former student housing. It appears that much of the process is being done using excavators, starting with the westmost building that previously connected Branscomb to the Student Life Center.
