In this episode of Notes from Nash, host Farouk Ramzan sits down with Jon Kaas, a neuroscientist and professor of Radiology and Radiological sciences at Vanderbilt University. He is responsible for discovering areas of the brain, such as the middle temporal area (MT) and the dorsomedial area. Kaas’s research, in general, has demonstrated the great degree of plasticity that mature nervous systems have. We talk about his findings while discovering the brain.
