This week, Hustler photographers captured scenes from Family Weekend including wins from volleyball and football, scenes from downtown Nashville and artists Matt Maltese and The Beaches in concert.

Family Weekend

One of the featured events during Family Weekend included Fall for the Arts. Students and their families gathered to enjoy student performances, art displays, a Fall-inspired menu and fun crafts!

Concerts

Indie pop artist Matt Maltese kicked off the opening night of his United States tour in Nashville at Marathon Music Works. From intimate ballads to beat-kicking tracks, Maltese amped up the crowd and provided a memorable opening night experience

Canadian rock band, The Beaches, continued their “No Hard Feelings Tour” at Brooklyn Bowl on Sept. 18. The Beaches performed to a full crowd and brought energy into each of their songs.

Football and volleyball are on a roll

Women’s Volleyball showed out on Family Weekend by bringing home a win against UC Irvine in four sets at Memorial Gymnasium on Sept. 19, and the No. 18 Vanderbilt Commodores secured a 70-21 victory over Georgia State on Sept. 20.

Photographers this week also took the time to capture the smaller moments around downtown Nashville and throughout campus.
