Though the second week of school brings the promise of events slowing down, life still is moving at breakneck speed around campus. The Hustler is keeping up with concerts, sports and events galore around campus and Nashville.

Music City

Ansie Blue celebrated Labor Day in Hillsboro with a 10-hour block party filled with local artists, such as Joy Oladokun, Grace Bowers and Daniel Nunnelee. At Brooklyn Bowl Chance Peña and David Kushner took the stage to connect with their Nashville audiences while Yolk Lore lit up Basement East earlier in the week.

Soccer on the Plex and in Geodis Park

Vanderbilt soccer took home two wins this week. In a last minute goal against Ball St., Mia Castillo brought home a Vanderbilt win on the Plex. At Geodis Park, the Dores’ strong offense brought home six goals to win over MTSU.
