On this week’s episode of Live From West End, Sports Editor Henry Oelhafen and Sports Podcast Producer Tristan Rutman kick off the episode by welcoming in special guest Richard Oelhafen to chat about Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball head coach Mark Byington’s extension and preview the opening of the transfer portal. The trio moves on to discuss the women’s basketball team’s narrow loss to Notre Dame in the Sweet 16. After letting Richard go on with his day, they welcome in resident baseball expert Dylan Tovitz to recap the VandyBoys’ sweep of Tennessee on three walk-off wins and a mid-week win over Belmont. As always, they end the episode with “Tristan’s Two-Minute Drill™,” where they break down each Final Four matchup and make their National Championship predictions.
