Vanderbilt middle Jackie Moore was selected by the Atlanta Vibe with the 21st pick in the Major League Volleyball Draft on Monday, Nov. 24. The senior was the only Vanderbilt player selected in this year’s draft.
Moore has been a leader for Vanderbilt this season, both on and off the court. The middle leads the team in kills with 334, and she dropped a team-high 31 kills in the Commodores’ final game of the regular season against Mississippi State. Her attack percentage was 39% this season, and she also racked up a total of 105 blocks.
The California native earned an All-SEC Second Team selection as well as being named the 2025 SEC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She also served as a team captain this year for Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt’s season recently finished at the SEC Tournament, where it advanced to the quarterfinals despite being the No. 15-seed in the 16-team field. The Commodores finished the year with a 9-18 (3-12 SEC) record, as they struggled immensely during the middle portion of their conference schedule. Still, head coach Anders Nelson successfully started the program in 2025 as Vanderbilt looks to improve its performance in 2026.
Moore will now head to Atlanta as she looks to establish herself at the professional level in Major League Volleyball.
