As the weather begins to warm up, it’s time to dive into Nashville’s greatest lakes. Nashville — yes, a landlocked city — has plenty of nearby rivers and lakes ready to dive into. This is the perfect excuse to take a study break from finals and an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature. As the sun’s heat beams down on us, the cry to be by a body of water is getting louder. If you are staying for Maymester or for the entire summer, adventuring to these swimming holes is a great way to get off campus. Stop relying on air conditioning or false promises of invites to a friend’s pool. Take the initiative yourself, get out and explore!
