A home football game brought life back to campus at the end of a big midterms week. Students’ week was interspersed with time in the sun and resting before the weekend.

Music City

To break up the midterm season, students had a wide range of concerts to attend. Macklemore and surprise guest Ke$ha played at the Ryman, 2023 Rites of Spring opener Maude Latour played at the Basement East and Arctic Monkeys and ODESZA both played at Ascend Amphitheater. Other shows around Nashville highlighted artists Charli Adams (with Ava Beathard and Hannah Flores), The Midnight, Be Your Own Pet, Jeff Rosenstock and Sun Room.

Sports

This weekend brought mixed results for the ‘Dores. While the football lost against Kentucky, both the women’s tennis and women’s golf teams took a big home win on Sunday. Earlier in the week, soccer beat Ole Miss 2-0.

Editor’s picks

Another busy week on campus was broken up by cozying up in our favorite study spots on campus. Senior Caroline Lingle broke down her favorite spots to study off campus.
