Women’s Basketball: Vanderbilt lands Mia Woolfolk in NCAA Transfer Portal

The 6’3 forward averaged 13.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game at Georgia this past season.

Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball has landed its first transfer of the offseason, with former Georgia forward Mia Woolfolk announcing her commitment to Vanderbilt via Instagram April 14.

Woolfolk, standing at 6’3, will bring more size and depth to the Commodores’ frontcourt — particularly with the graduation of Sacha Washington. Woolfolk started in all but one game for the Bulldogs this past season, averaging 13.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 23.2 minutes. In Vanderbilt’s two-point loss to Georgia, she scored 19 points and added 7 rebounds. She posted a season-high 29 points in Georgia’s four-point loss to Oklahoma.

The Midlothian, Virginia, native was a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team during the 2024-25 season. She was a four-star recruit out of high school and has two years of NCAA eligibility left.
