According to 247Sports’ Robbie Weinstein, guard Saben Lee has signed with Wasserman Sports Agency.
Vanderbilt’s Saben Lee has signed with Wasserman, per Instagram. None of the NCAA’s certified agents (the guys you need to sign with if you want to return to school) are listed as working for Wasserman https://t.co/0jLHTeN0CD pic.twitter.com/zmTkBEBMHb

In legislation adopted after the 2018-19 season, the NCAA does not allow players represented by non-NCAA certified agents to return to school if they are not drafted in the NBA draft. Men’s basketball athletes can be represented by certified agents and maintain their collegiate eligibility.
It appears that none of Wasserman’s agents are on the short list of NCAA-approved agents, as linked in Weinstein’s tweet.
If Lee indeed signed with an agent who is not NCAA-certified, then he is ineligible to return to college basketball, regardless of whether he is drafted in the upcoming NBA Draft.
In January, Lee was ranked as the 38th-best prospect in the draft, according to Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman.
