Fall has arrived at Trader Joe’s: Are you ready for the pumpkin spice?

Fall foods have taken over Trader Joe’s grocery stores. We reviewed some of the most exciting seasonal items.

With fall quickly approaching, fan-favorite grocery store Trader Joe’s has begun releasing its line of perfectly spiced autumnal products. If you’re ready to ride the pumpkin wave and get in the spirit for fall, Trader Joe’s is definitely the place to go. I hit up my local store to see exactly what they have to offer and give some items a try.

The Trader Joe’s fall line includes many items, ranging from breakfast dishes, pasta and soups  to more simple snacks and desserts. Here are just a few of the options that caught my eye.

Firstly, I wanted to try a breakfast option and went for the pumpkin bagels with pumpkin cream cheese. The bagel itself was not overly sweet and had more of a subtle pumpkin flavor, so it paired perfectly with the sweet and creamy cream cheese. If you’re not a bagel person though, you could also try the frozen pumpkin waffles, pumpkin bread or apple cider donuts.

Next, I tried the “This pumpkin walks into a bar…” cereal bar. The cereal bars at Trader Joe’s are a staple item and come in flavors like apple, strawberry and blueberry, so it was worth checking out a seasonal take. The pumpkin flavor was pretty good, but I would rather go for their classic apple flavor when I’m looking for a quick breakfast or snack on the go.

The Maple and Sea Salt Kettle corn then caught my eye, a nice switch-up from all the pumpkin-flavored options. This kettle corn was a great snack, sweet and salty with a hint of maple flavor and perfect for munching on while watching a Halloween movie on a chilly September day.

For a lunch or dinner option, I picked up the Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli. It is a delicious combination of savory and sweet, making for a great quick meal with some butter or olive oil. Trader Joe’s also offers a popular frozen Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese if you want to venture out of pumpkin territory.

Of course, I had to finish up with some dessert, so I grabbed the mini pumpkin ginger “Hold the Cone” ice cream cones. These are the ideal treat for the transition from summer to fall—when it’s still warm, but you want something with fall flavors. There are many other dessert options as well that my stomach just couldn’t fit, like pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin spice cookies and maple leaf cookies.

I would definitely recommend heading to Trader Joe’s if you are looking to get in the fall spirit. With endless festive snacks and meals, there is something for everyone this upcoming season.
