On this week’s episode of Live From West End, Sports Editor Henry Oelhafen and Sports Podcast Producer Tristan Rutman kick off a holiday special over Zoom by previewing Vanderbilt’s upcoming matchup against Iowa in the ReliaQuest Bowl. They shift to men’s basketball, which has been on an absolute tear after wins against Memphis and Wake Forest, most recently. The duo then covers women’s basketball’s latest wins against South Florida, UAlbany and Texas Southern. They then preview the final game of each team’s non-conference schedule, as both look to stay undefeated heading into SEC play. The episode wraps up with Tristan’s Two-Minute Drill™, as Henry and Tristan make their predictions for the remainder of the College Football Playoff.

Iowa lost to 4 ranked teams by a combined 15 point. They have the best offensive line in the country. Even though Iowa’s offense isn’t elite they still average over 28 points per game. Similar to the Nebraska game, Iowa will win by double digits.
