These are not the first honors the New Jersey Native has received — she was also named to the All-American second team by Sporting News and ESPN on March 18. Earlier this month, on March 3, Blakes was selected to The Athletic’s All-American second team.
Blakes’ resume keeps growing as she adds to the SEC awards she won just over two weeks ago. She was announced as the SEC Freshman of the Year and named to the All-SEC first team and All-SEC freshman team, as well.
