PHOTOS OF THE WEEK: Shining into spring semester

Despite rainy weather in the past week, the sun remains as students have returned to campus for the second semester.

Bundling up, basketball and the beauty of campus are all back and better than ever at the start of the spring semester.

Campus on pause

The hustle and bustle of student life at Vanderbilt was put on hold as many students traveled off campus for winter break.

Sports

The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team won their SEC home opener against Florida on Jan. 7, 2023. The team is currently on top of the world, with only one loss on the season so far.

Isabella Bautista (‘26) is double majoring in mathematics and psychology and minoring in biological sciences on the pre-medical track in the College of Arts and Science. She is from Easton, Pa. When not writing for The Hustler, she can be found spending hours alone in a piano practice room, photographing Vanderbilt squirrels with her Canon camera or poring over research papers in the lab she works in.
