The past few weeks have shown us that concert season is genuinely back in swing in Music City. Here are photos from some shows we covered and Vanderbilt’s annual Rites of Spring festival this past weekend.

Music around Nashville

From Chase Rice to Lady A at the Ryman, country music fans have had their schedules full in Nashville recently. At the Brooklyn Bowl, Theo Kandel, former Melodore, brought many current students to a show full of good vibes on April 12.

Rites of Spring, Day 1

The first day of the annual Rites of Spring music festival was incredibly rainy for fans on Alumni Lawn. Edgehill, a band composed of current and former Vanderbilt students, came out first on Friday night. They were followed by Coco Jones and Muni Long. Finally, Dayglow took the stage clad in a clear poncho to play for students in the rain.

Rites of Spring, Day 2

The second day of Rites of Spring brought warmer and drier weather and bigger crowds. Yaubryon opened the show and was followed by Maude Lautor. Sean Kingston played for all the beautiful girls in the crowd before Ferg closed out the night and Rites weekend.
