“This series, Beauty Marks, was inspired by various photographs I found on the internet, particularly on Pinterest. I had an urge to capture the complexity, mystery, and uniqueness of every individual’s story. The elderly individuals I have drawn illustrate how we may conquer all of the life’s hardships, emerging only with beauty marks.”
