On June 4, The Nashville Black Lives Matter protest began at Bicentennial Park, continuing through Broadway and to the Tennessee State Capitol Building.
Broadway normally attracts tourists from all over the country, but the busy roads instead were filled with local community members in solidarity with the movement.
The protest in Nashville is the latest in a series of demonstrations across the country in the fight for racial equality.
The Nashville community, including students from Vanderbilt, Belmont and other local universities came together on June 4 for this peaceful protest.
This protest ended with a gathering around the Capitol building, and people are continuing to protest in Nashville and across the country.
