Schmidt from “New Girl,” headstands on Hawkins Field and capturing the last of the colorful leaves on the trees wrapped up the final few days on campus before a well-deserved break.
Campus happenings
To sneak a peek at The Hustler headlines recently published — events on campus this week included Max Greenfield at Langford Auditorium and a “Nature” Biomedical Conference. Articles currently in the works include a demonstration by a group of Jewish students calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, exhibits by Vanderbilt’s chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine along with Vanderbilt Hillel surrounding the war in the Middle East and an exhibition at the Vaughn House.
Sports
The VandyBoys baseball season is back again this week, with the Gold team winning both the first and second games of their David Williams Fall Classic. Our favorite slam-dunking Commodores were nothing but net as well, with a victory for the Women’s Basketball team against Fairfield on Sunday and a victory for the Men’s against UNC Greensboro on Tuesday.
