PHOTOS OF THE WEEK: A glimpse at the end of October

Students remain busy as Halloween creeps around the corner.

From local bakeries on Alumni lawn to pumpkins carved at final Visions group meetings, the past week here on campus has been all about embracing fall and preparing for upcoming Halloween celebrations.

MakHERS Market

Last Friday, Women in Business hosted the Nashville MakHERS Market on Alumni Lawn. Female-owned vendors came from all over Nashville, including student creators, to sell items with all proceeds going to non-profit Thistle Farms.

Sports

As the temperature begins to decline, soccer and baseball begin their seasons.

Editor’s picks

Students enjoyed the beautiful late autumn weather in a variety of ways throughout the week. Popular pastimes included reading in hammocks, recognizing squirrels and reconnecting with nature.
