On Sports Editor Bryce Smith’s final episode as the host of Live from West End, he joins Deputy Sports Editor’s Aiden Rutman and Frankie Sheehy in the studio to discuss a rough week of Vanderbilt sports. The trio starts with Tyrin Lawrence’s decision to transfer after testing the NBA Draft waters, expressing concern at the continuing number of players that have entered the transfer portal. They end basketball talks on the topic of Jerry Stackhouse and the rumors swirling on his involvement around NBA head coaching position. They briefly discuss Ja’Dais Richard’s decision to enter the transfer portal and offer insights into NFL Draft hopefuls Anfernee Orji, Maxwell Worship and Jeremy Lucien. They end with discussing baseball’s recent slump and what Tim Corbin and Co. need to do to get out of it. On the last Anything but Vandy, the team returns to its roots, talking about the English Premier League, just as they did on the semester’s first segment.
