What drove the Vanderbilt Soccer team to capture the team’s first SEC regular season championship in more than 20 years?
According to head coach Darren Ambrose, it was the chip on their collective shoulders.
On his weekly VandyRadio program, Ambrose discusses how his team has motivated itself to prove the doubters wrong. He also talked about how his team’s depth will become crucial late in the season with players dealing with injuries and how the Commodores have refocused after taking the SEC regular season crown.
Vanderbilt travels to Ole Miss on Thursday for the final regular season game. The Commodores will be the top seed in the SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Alabama next week.
