Why: Cheer on the Commodores in their opening meet against Campbell University. The first 100 fans will receive pizza and the chance to win a 40-inch LED Smart TV.

What: Vanderbilt Soccer vs. South Carolina
When: Friday, October 12 at 7 p.m.
Where: Vanderbilt Soccer Complex
Why: It’s a battle for the top spot in the SEC when the Commodores take on the South Carolina Gamecocks on Friday night. Vanderbilt has won 13 consecutive games and will be seeking another win over a ranked opponent on Friday.

What: Vanderbilt Football Homecoming Game vs. University of Florida
When: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m.
Where: Vanderbilt Stadium
Why: Come watch the Commodores take on a ranked Florida team at Vanderbilt Stadium in this year’s homecoming game. If the Football isn’t your thing, stick around for halftime when the 2018 Outstanding Senior will be announced.

What: Lambda’s 24th Annual Drag Show: Candyland
When: Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 6:30 to 11 p.m.
Where: SLC Ballroom
Why: You don’t have to regularly watch RuPaul’s drag race to have a blast at the Lambda drag show, where drag royalty hailing from campus and the greater Nashville area will hit the stage. Come to support Vandy’s LGBTQ+ community, and stay because it’s sure to be a great show. General admission is free, but for $10 you can buy a VIP ticket,and receive a free t-shirt, attend meet and greets and support the Oasis Center’s JustUs program, which helps Nashville’s LGBTQ youth.
