Vanderbilt University Medical Center will be copying and transferring patient records and data from the Psychological Counseling Center (PCC) to facilitate the continuation of care at the new University Counseling Center, which will replace the PCC on July 1.
The patient data being transferred includes treatment records, therapy notes, and other mental health evaluations in the VUMC system.
If students do not wish to have their information transferred, they can fill out an opt-out form before Tuesday April 10 at 11:59 p.m. Students who choose to opt out will still have access to their PCC records through the VUMC system and can transfer their personal data at their discretion by following these instructions.
Any questions should be directed to the PCC before Tuesday, April 10.
