Notes From Nash: Notes with Kevian Stassun: Understanding Space

Stassun was spared a mainstream school education, when he was identified as having a “high IQ” and was recommended for a gifted magnet program. Stassun attended Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies for both middle school and high school.

In this episode of Notes from Nash, host Farouk Ramzan talks with Kevian Stassun, a co-investigator for NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission. Stassun has also served as an expert witness to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology and was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Engineering Mentoring.
