On this edition of Anchor Analysis, Sports Editor Andrew Wilf and Lead Sports Analyst David Hernandez breakdown Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball’s 75-62 loss to the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, Jan. 27. The Commodores’ 35-30 halftime lead fell apart in the second half, as Vanderbilt shot 30.8% from the 3-point line and lost the rebound battle 38-31. Tyrin Lawrence led the way with 21 points and 8 rebounds alongside Ezra Manjon’s 14 points and 5 rebounds. Next up, Vanderbilt will take on No. 8 Auburn who are fresh off a loss against Mississippi State.
