On Wednesday, the Southeastern Conference released its full Women’s Basketball schedule for the 2023-24 season. After Vanderbilt announced its nonconference slate last week, the Commodores’ full slate is now confirmed.
The Commodores will open the season at Memorial Gymanasium against Kennesaw State on Nov. 6 for the first of 14 nonconference matchups. Over Thanksgiving weekend, Shea Ralph’s squad will travel to Las Vegas for the South Point Shootout with games against Iowa State (Nov. 24) and Northern Iowa (Nov. 25). Vanderbilt will then visit NC State for the ACC/SEC Challenge on Nov. 29. The Commodores’ final nonconference tilt will be on Dec. 31, New Year’s Eve, against Radford at home.
Vanderbilt will then open its SEC schedule on Jan. 4, 2024 at Mississippi State. The Commodores will play a total of 16 SEC games, concluding on March 3 against Georgia. In that span, they will play all other 13 SEC squads at least once, with two games each against Tennessee, Georgia and Missouri. The Commodores will face the in-state rival Lady Vols in Knoxville on Jan. 21 and at home on Feb. 18.
