On episode 2 of Live from West End, Sports Editor Andrew Wilf, Deputy Sports Editor Frankie Sheehy, and Deputy Sports Editor Aiden Rutman convene in the studio to discuss Vanderbilt Football’s Week Zero win over the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. The three express concern about the secondary’s performance, but remain optimistic that the team will get it done against Alabama A&M on Saturday in FirstBank Stadium. They also discuss soccer’s win over Belmont, but continue to harp on the importance of closing games out and putting the ball in the net, something that’s been a thorn in their side going back to last season. They discuss some hot takes, including a prediction for a massive game from a familiar face in the wide receiver room and a redemptive performance from the defense. Finally, the trio ends with their trademark Anything but Vandy segment, discussing Vanderbilt Dining, The Champion’s League draw, and following through on plans with old friends.
