From concerts in Nashville to baseball at The Hawk, students found ways to keep their week light between final exams and papers.

Nashville Concerts

Beabadoobee performed at Marathon Music Works April 26 bringing her indie rock set to Music City. Earlier in April, Weyes Blood came to Nashville on her “In Holy Flux “ tour at the Brooklyn Bowl.

Sweep over Kentucky

The VandyBoys had a clean sweep over Kentucky this weekend at The Hawk. They secured the series Saturday with a 9-3 victory. Sunday had Commodore nation sitting on the edge of their seats until the end of the game. The ‘Dores were down one run until the ninth inning, when Alan Espinal’s drive to left field secured a run from Matthew Polk and the win.

Editor’s picks

Leading up to finals week, students still found ways to smile around campus. Squirrels’ antics — from stealing Munchie snacks to sunbathing — cemented the spring atmosphere. At night, students raved to Rites of Spring artists.
