Imagine a world where the color of your skin or your socioeconomic background draws lines — however faint or bolded — on your success. For some, it’s a crippling thought, but it’s a reality that many minority students face when it comes to the academic culture and systems on Vanderbilt’s campus. How can resources be made more accessible, or even available in the first place? How can we alleviate the disparities that some individuals face based on their membership to an identity group?
