School may be getting started in the coming weeks, but Hot Girl Summer lives on at Vanderbilt Programming Board’s Commodore Quake this year with headliner Megan Thee Stallion. Bren Joy will also be performing.
Known best for his hit songs “Henny in the Hamptons” and “Sweet,” Joy was born and raised in Nashville and has recently attracted a solid fan base through his attempts to redefine mainstream R&B. Fans can also look forward to hearing Megan Thee Stallion’s wildly popular Fever album and songs like “Hot Girl Summer,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, which recently reached #2 on US Spotify charts.
Doors open at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, Oct. 18 at Memorial Stadium. Tickets will be on sale for $10 for students on Aug. 23 at TicketWeb or the Sarratt Box Office, but prices rise to $20 the week of the concert.
