Last month, the Hustler offered up its services to help record student entries to this year’s annual NPR Tiny Desk Contest. The contest allows for unsigned artists to submit a video of themselves performing an original song behind a desk, and the winner of the contest performs at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C., behind the same desk that artists like Chance the Rapper, Weezer and Yo-Yo Ma have performed at. This year, NPR lowered their age requirement from 18 years old to 21, allowing for more entries from students. Below are the three videos that the Hustler helped create with Theo Kandel, Evan Suzman and Sarah Lopez for their submissions.
Theo Kandel- “Runningblind”
Evan Suzman- “Do You Wish You Were Right”
