Hrant Arakelian, head chef and owner of Lyra Restaurant, will cook a special meal in the dining hall at E. Bronson Ingram College this Tuesday between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Born in Lebanon, Arakelian grew up cooking with his parents, an experience to which he attributes his ambition for a culinary career. He trained in various Nashville restaurants for a few years before opening one of his own in 2017. Serving decadent Middle Eastern cuisine, Lyra has received rave reviews since its opening.
