The Vanderbilt Hustler sports staff has entered into a partnership with student media counterparts VandyRadio and Vanderbilt Television.
This partnership will expand multimedia coverage of Vanderbilt sports by letting Vanderbilt fans access VandyRadio and VTV’s sports coverage through VanderbiltHustler.com and through Vanderbilt Hustler social media channels.
“Over the last few years, VandyRadio and VTV’s sports coverage has expanded, and we wanted to make sure that the Vanderbilt community had the chance to access that high-quality content more easily,” said Cutler Klein, sports editor of the Vanderbilt Hustler, sports director for VandyRadio and producer of “VU Sports Wired” on VTV.
“The only major change you’ll see is simply more audio and video content coming to the Vanderbilt Hustler website and social media channels,” Klein said. “Internally, students will be given more streamlined opportunities to expand their horizons and contribute written content, audio and video. We want to provide the best multimedia coverage of Vanderbilt sports, and that’s exactly what this partnership accomplishes.”
VandyRadio is Vanderbilt’s student-run radio station streamed 24/7 on VandyRadio.com The station’s sports coverage includes shows/podcasts like the 615 Sports Drive, On the Road with Max and Ax, and Rootoworld Sports, as well as complete coverage of Vanderbilt Soccer.
VTV is Vanderbilt’s student-run television station and includes VU Sports Wired, a show dedicated to discussing the latest developments in Commodore sports.
