Oregon’s Michelle Zauner will be bringing her indie-pop project Japanese Breakfast to Exit/In on April 28th. The show is part of her tour in support her 2017 sophomore album, Soft Sounds from Another Planet. The album’s grand, sparkling compositions, covering topics ranging from sex to her mother’s death, have achieved critical acclaim from publications such as Pitchfork and Stereogum. Listen to the single “Road Head” below.
Zauner will be joined by Snail Mail, a Baltimore trio whose cavernous, longing songs about love and suburbia have been garnering attention from critics and fans alike.=
