The sound of Halloween: a perfect playlist for All Hallows’ Eve

Halloween has always been full of traditions—costumes, decorations, parties, trick-or-treating and brightly colored food. However, no dorm get-together or party would be complete without spooky music to complement the scary decorations and costumes. From eerie classical pieces to 80s throwbacks, no stone should go unturned in the perfect Halloween Spotify playlist. It should appeal to all ages and musical tastes by including children’s songs such as “Purple People Eater,” classic Michael Jackson tunes and some of today’s best pop hits. Be prepared to rediscover songs from the past and explore all kinds of new spooky tunes when you blast the “Vanderbilt Halloween” Spotify playlist at full volume over Halloweekend and on All Hallows’ Eve.
