Due to popular demand, the original Rand Cookies will be back next week.

Campus Dining has been serving different cookies in Rand Dining Hall than those served in the past. As a result, there has been considerable student push-back, including petitions to bring back the cookies that amounted hundreds of signatures.

In response to student requests, Campus Dining will start serving the original cookies no later then next Friday, Marketing and Communications Manager of Campus Dining Julie Akard Crider said.

Campus Dining will conduct a marketing initiative next week to make sure students are aware of the cookies’ impending return, she said.

Students prefer the original cookies to the version currently served.

“They are served warm and are a larger size than most cookies,” Crider said.
