Carrie Russell (Ph.D. ‘10) is a senior lecturer in Vanderbilt’s department of political science. She earned her B.A. in political science from Rhodes College and her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She specializes in public law, identity politics and Southern politics and previously served as a judicial clerk for Davidson County’s 20th Judicial District.
