The Vanderbilt Hustler

Bobby Kent (23') is a Staff Writer for the Vanderbilt Hustler. He joined the staff in the first semester of his freshman year as a sports writer. Bobby is also the co-host of Kent and Coad, a sports talk show on Vanderbilt Radio and a panelist on VU Sports Wired, a Vanderbilt Sports Television show. Bobby also created and maintains the website Squash Universe, a platform for junior squash players to learn from professional players and coaches through interviews Bobby conducts on camera or in written form.

He is an Economics major in the College of Arts and Science with a minor in Business. Bobby has been a dedicated sports fan ever since he was little and loves to track the decisions made by front offices, players and coaches. Bobby hopes to one day have a career in the business of professional sports through working for a professional sports organization or a network such as ESPN.

When not writing articles, providing opinions about Vanderbilt sports on TV, or serving hot takes in the radio studio, Bobby can be found watching his beloved Philadelphia sports teams and hoping the Process is finally complete.
