There comes a time every late summer where the heat starts to waver. In Nashville, there has been a mix off of windy rain and scorching sun. You can’t put on your bulky parka, but you also can’t let your obsession with cut-off shorts die.  So how do you craft the perfect outfit? Take some inspiration from these Vanderbilt students.

We all came from high schools where we were all the exception to the rule — we were kind of special in some way, or people told us that,” said Cai Sherley, 20, seated in the campus cafe.
