EDITOR’S MIX: Campus Editor Sam Zern

My daily mood is largely determined by two things: the amount of coffee I’ve slammed back and the music I have blasting during my arduous trek from Highland to Wilson. With Caribou Coffee gone and Local Java open, all I need is an upbeat playlist to keep me smiling no matter how long my walk is. So here’s a list of songs that make me almost as happy as a venti nonfat triple shot latte, iced– I hope they can do the same for you!

Sam Zern ('20) has been a member of The Vanderbilt Hustler since her freshman year, first as a staff writer and shortly after as assistant campus editor. She went on to be campus editor and, later, editor in chief. In her senior year at Vanderbilt, Sam is working as managing editor with the intention of streamlining recruitment and training processes.
