On Episode 22 of the Hustler Sports 30 podcast, sports editor Justin Hershey and deputy sports editors Sam Curtis and Andrew Wilf discuss all things NIT. Both Vanderbilt men’s and women’s basketball have qualified for postseason tournaments for the first time since 2017 and 2014 respectively. The hosts dive into the importance of each program continuing to play deep into March, the matchups and how both Vanderbilt squads can make a run in the field.

Sam Curtis (’24) is from Wallingford, Conn., majoring in human and organizational development and French and minoring in data science in Peabody College. He was previously Assistant Sports Editor and Sports Copy Editor. When not writing for The Hustler, he cheers on the Philadelphia Eagles, the 76ers and Leeds United.
