We did it, everyone. We survived nearly a year and half with no concerts or music events of any kind. But that pain is finally coming to an end: live music is BACK in Music City! No one could be happier about this return than us, the Life section—after all, live shows and events make up practically half our content. So get hyped, guys. This fall marks a long-awaited return to form: for you, for us and for live music everywhere.

Black Pistol Fire is touring this summer in promotion of their 2021 album, “Look Alive.”

First in our fall concert preview series is Canadian alt-rock duo Black Pistol Fire, celebrating their Jan. 2021 album release with a summer tour—including a stop at Lollapalooza—in the U.S. and Canada. Both the album and single “Look Alive” have trended on multiple Billboard charts for the alternative and rock genres, with Rolling Stone Mexico calling the album “an amalgam of Southern rock, blues and garage punk sounds.”

Lead singer/guitarist Kevin Mckeown and drummer/bassist Eric Owen, who produced the album with help from six-time Grammy-winner Vance Powell, both said they couldn’t wait to come alive on stages nationwide to showcase the “expansive” sound of their new album. Rock artist Welles to open.
