VU Sports Wired, Mar. 4: Baseball is back, basketball winding down.

VU Sports Wired returns to breakdown men’s basketball’s recent loss to LSU and Vanderbilt baseball’s quick start to the 2021 season.

In the first episode of the spring, VU Sports Wired hosts Justin Hershey, Bobby Kent and Bryce Smith dive into Vanderbilt basketball’s recent performances. With just two regular season games remaining, the Commodores will be looking to mount momentum heading into the Southeastern Conference Tournament (SEC) next week.

On the diamond, the VandyBoys have jumped out to a hot 5-1 start. After a 3-1 series win over Georgia State this past weekend, the hosts breakdown what they saw from Tim Corbin’s team and what to watch for in Vanderbilt’s upcoming series with Illinois-Chicago this weekend.
