What: Honors Thesis Showcase
When: Monday, April 15 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Where: Board of Trust Room in the Student Life Center
Why: See 20 students in the Honors Thesis Showcase display and discuss their final work. The event will be catered by Coffee Cart Nashville.
Who: Scientific Immersion and Mentorship, Office of Immersion Resources

What: Why Poly Sci?
When: Thursday, April 18 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Where: Commons Center Room 335
Why: Hear a panel of students and faculty lead a discussion about the Political Science major, as well as career advice.
Who: Undergraduate Political Science Association

 

Sports
What: Baseball v.s. Indiana State
When: Tuesday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Hawkins Field
Why: Watch the ‘Dores take on Indiana State while you still have the chance to catch them playing live on campus.

Cultural
What: Bengali New Year Celebration
When: Thursday, April 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Sarratt Student Center 325-327
Why: Learn about the Bengali New Year while enjoying South Asian cuisine and participating in cultural activities.

What: Let’s Get This Banh Mi
When: Friday, April 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Where: Sarratt 189
Why: Enjoy bahn mi sandwiches and karaoke at the Vietnamese Student Association’s de-stress event. Who: Vietnamese Student Association

 

Recreational
What: Yoga on the Lawn
When: Wed., April 17 from 4 to 4:45 p.m.
Where: Alumni Lawn
Why: Find your zen in the midst of the craziness that is finals season with a relaxing 45-minute outdoor yoga class.
Who: Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center

What: 11th Annual Shade Tree Trot 5K
When: Saturday, April 20 at 8 a.m.
Where: Vanderbilt Football Stadium
Why: Support the the Shade Tree Clinic, a free student-run clinic that provides healthcare for uninsured patients in Nashville, by running in their annual 5K trot. After an energizing run/walk, enjoy some live music and food from local food trucks. Students can register now for a $30 registration fee.

What: Vandy Taal Spring Concert 2019
When: Tuesday, April 16 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Alumni Hall
Why: Take a study break with this campus a cappella group in their annual spring concert.

What: Big Gasp Show
When: Friday, April 19 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.
Where: Sarratt Cinema
Why: Don’t miss T&C’s final show of the year, as they bring more laughs and send off their seniors.

Health & Wellness
What: LEAPS De-Stress Fest
When: Tuesday, April 16 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Alumni Lawn
Why: Relieve some of your pre-finals jitters with activities, food and strategies for stress management.
Who: LEAPS – Liaisons Education & Advocating for Psychological Support

What: De-stress with Dogs + Substance-free Studying
When: Tuesday, April 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Where: Central Library Lawn
Why: Learn about prescription drug abuse geared towards college students during finals while playing with therapy dogs.
Who: DORE Initiative – Drug Overdose and Reduction Education Initiative
