As finals week rolls around, it can get extremely stressful. Balancing studying and your mental health is not always the easiest. If you’re unsure how to cope or just need a break there are several events around campus to help! Check out this weekly calendar to find out how to destress!
Tuesday, Dec. 5
What: Do(Nut) Stress about finals

Who: University Counseling Center
Why: Finals week can be extremely stressful. Take a break and grab some donuts and hot chocolate!
Wednesday, Dec. 6
What: Knead a Break

Where: Center of Student Wellbeing
Who: University Counseling Center and Center for Student Wellbeing
Why: Chair massages will be provided to help take off any extra stress!
What: Gingerbread House Decorating Competition
When: Wednesday, Dec. 6, 5-7 p.m. CST
Where: Rec Center Teaching Kitchen

Why: Come get in the holiday spirit while taking a break from studying!
Thursday, Dec. 7
What: Doggone it, finals are coming

Why: Take a break from studying to pet therapy pets with University Counseling Center staff!
What: Mega Destress Event
When: Thursday, Dec. 7, 7-10 p.m. CST
Where: Student Life Center
Who: Vanderbilt Programming Board and Housing and Residential Experience
Why: You’ll be able to enjoy food from Cane’s, Velvet Taco and Bag Lady’s fries, plus coffee and boba. There will also be plate smashing, therapy dogs, candy bars, raffles and more!
What: Midnight Breakfast
When: Thursday, Dec. 7, 11 p.m.-1 a.m. CST

Who: VSG, Vanderbilt Culinary Club and Vanderbilt Campus Dining
Why: Come eat delicious breakfast with your friends in your pajamas at this Vanderbilt tradition!
