If you’re searching for a new study spot this semester, look no further than the new C-Suite Café in the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management. Situated in the former student lounge on the first floor of the Owen building, the coffee shop opened on Jan. 8.

You will immediately spot the shop by the large letters spelling out “COFFEE” in the front window. Inside, the atmosphere is simple but cozy, perfect for studying or meeting for a latte. Order at the espresso bar as you walk in and grab a seat at the bar peering into the lobby, one of the spacious tables or a couch overlooking 21st Avenue.

The C-Suite Café’s menu resembles that of a neighborhood espresso drink and coffee shop, as do its prices. A latte costs $4.75, which is more expensive than what you would pay for a cup of Peet’s Coffee at Rand Dining Center, but is definitely worth the quality.

The new café is operated by Nashville-based OSA Coffee Roasters, which sources its coffee beans from a grower in Colombia. C-Suite Café is OSA’s first retail location. The C-Suite Café was launched through a partnership between OSA and the Turner Family Center for Social Ventures, an affiliate of Owen with previous work in the coffee industry.

Pastries from Nashville’s Dozen bakery are also available at the café, which also serves tea and cold drinks. The new café is the perfect space to escape the stress and enjoy an espresso drink in a cozy lounge chair. Bring your homework and enjoy your new favorite study spot.

Unfortunately, the C-Suite Café does not accept the Commodore card, so be sure to bring a credit card or cash if you’re planning on indulging yourself. The café is open 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on weekdays and is closed on weekends.
